Kara has spent 10+ years as a senior finance leader inside consumer brands, such as Rent the Runway, and mission driven organizations, like charity: water. There, she built the forecasts, P&L models, and board level financial reports that guided major business decisions. She holds an MBA from NYU Stern.

She started Margin & Forecast because she kept seeing the same gap: small business owners making big calls on hiring, pricing, and growth with no real financial visibility. She built this practice to bring that same rigor to founder-led businesses, without the corporate overhead.
